The goal of this event
is to support emerging dancers in their transition to the professional dance career. Workshops are offered around the topics of career planning, working conditions, mental health/key competencies, physical health and networking.
Location & Language
The event will be held in English and takes place (partially) hybrid at Tanzraum Wedding Berlin and online via our digital platform Lounjee.
Conditions of Participation
This information and networking event is aimed at graduates who are registered or funded in the funding programmes DIS-TANZ-START, DIS-TANZ-SOLO or HELP DANCE.
Starting 10 October (if capacities are available), the events will also be opened to non-registered dancers who are entering the profession and live in Germany.
Costs
Participation is free of charge for all dancers registered in the above-mentioned programmes. In addition, participants who are not from Berlin can apply for reimbursement of travel costs within Germany in accordance with the Federal Travel Costs Act. A maximum of 150.00 EUR per person can be reimbursed. Air travel will not be reimbursed. UPDATE: For those participants who are not based in Berlin, we will reimburse a lump sum of 20 EUR per night for accommodation
Non-registered dancers can participate in the career week for a contribution towards expenses of 30.00 EUR per day or 100.00 EUR (plus service fee, incl. lunch) for the whole week.
Registration
The registration has been closed.
Upon request, participants can receive a certificate of attendance for the events attended.
