Peer Support Community

For graduates, entering a professional dance career is often associated with many questions and challenges. Networking and exchange with each other as well as with experienced experts and dance professionals can therefore be particularly helpful. With the peer-to-peer counselling, the team of DIS-TANZ-START invites all registered dancers not to walk the path of starting a career alone, but to support each other and to learn with and from each other.

Our peer support sessions will alternate between open and focused discussions. In the open sessions, all topics that the participants would like to talk about are welcome. In the focused sessions, specific topics can be discussed - among the peers or with the support of invited experts.

Joining our peer support community, will help you to

  • Strengthen your connections with the dance community
  • Cultivate networking skills
  • Build professional contacts
  • Gain valuable career-development advice and much more.

The event takes place online via Zoom once a month in English, partially in German language.
